What We Do

How does Arizona Central Credit Union protect my personal information?

To protect your personal information from unauthorized access and use, we use security measures that comply with federal law. These measures include computer safeguards and secured files and buildings. Access to nonpublic personal information is restricted to employees who need it to serve you. We maintain physical, electronic, or procedural safeguards complying with federal regulations to guard your information.

How does Arizona Central Credit Union collect my personal information?

We collect your personal information, for example, when you
– open an account or apply for a loan
– use your credit or debit card or give us your employment information
– make deposits or withdrawals from your account

We also collect your personal information from others, such as credit bureaus, affiliates, or other companies.

Why can’t I limit all sharing?
Federal law gives you the right to limit only
– sharing for affiliates’ everyday business purposes – information about your creditworthiness
– affiliates from using your information to market to you
– sharing for nonaffiliates to market to you

State law and individual companies may give you additional rights to limit sharing.

What happens when I limit sharing for an account I hold jointly with someone else?
Your choices will apply to everyone on your account – unless you tell us otherwise

Definitions

Affiliates
Companies related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and nonfinancial companies.

Nonaffiliates
Companies not related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and nonfinancial companies.
– Nonaffiliates we share with can include insurance companies, government agencies, plastic card processors (credit/debit/ATM), financial statement publishers or printers, mailhouse, mortgage service companies, consumer reporting agencies, data processors, and check/share draft printers

Joint Marketing
A formal agreement between nonaffiliated financial companies that together market financial products or services to you.
Our joint marketing partners include CUNA Mutual Group’s MEMBERCONNECT and loan recapture programs

Other Important Information

Location Data.
Our mobile banking app periodically collects, transmits, and uses location data to support features that allow us to communicate with you for various reasons such as closures, marketing, maintenance, and fraud alerts, but only if you expressly authorize collection of such information. You may choose whether location data can be monitored on a continuous basis in the background, only while the app is being used, or not at all. You can change your location permissions at any time in your device settings.
